Alternative Flash Player Auto-Updater 1.0.2.0 is available for download. This update fixed an issue which causes the download process to fail due to the missing path “\Installer”.
Alternative Flash Player Auto-Updater 1.0.1.9 is available for download!
This version allows administrators to choose a remote path containing the Installer files. Thanks to this feature a lot of ressources can be saved. Furthermore, many bugs have been fixed.
Update: Some users reported problems with version 1.0.1.9. You can, of course, still download version 1.0.1.8 (click here).
Update 2: There is a workaround to fix version 1.0.1.9. Open the installation Path of Alternative Flash Player Auto-Updater (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Alternative Flash Player Auto-Updater). Create a new directory called “Installer” inside this directory. This will fix the problems.
Alternative Flash Player Auto-Updater 1.0.1.9 will be released soon. This version comes with a new feature allowing administrators to choose a local (or network) path containing the Flash Player installers. This way you can save a lot of network resources and time since no client has to download the contents from Adobe’s servers.
Some further testing has to be done. What do you think of this new feature?
